What documents do I need to rent a car?
You will need a valid driver’s license and a passport or ID. Every driver must hold a driving license for at least 3 years.
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age is typically 21, but it may vary depending on the type of vehicle. Drivers under 23 may be subject to an additional fee
Is insurance included in the rental price?
Basic insurance is included, but additional full insurance may be available at an extra cost
Can the car be delivered/collected at the airport?
We are not allowed to deliver/pick up our cars at the airport, because we are a private car rental company that is not located at the airport. Upon request, we are happy to arrange a reliable and comfortable taxi transfer from the airport to your accommodation and/or vice versa. What we offer for free is a transfer/shuttle service from Hato Airport.
Are there any mileage limits?
All rental vehicles come with unlimited mileage, allowing you to explore Curaçao without restrictions.
What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?
In the event of an accident or breakdown, contact us immediately. We offer roadside assistance and guidance with the next steps. You can already call ForenSys on 9233. ForenSys collects and documents all relevant information about the incident at the scene of the accident.
Can I add an additional driver?
Yes, you can add extra drivers for free, provided they meet the same requirements as the main driver.
What is the fuel policy?
Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If not, fuel charges will apply.
Do you offer child seats or other accessories?
Yes, we provide child seats, beach chairs, coolers, and snorkel gear upon request. A single cooler and snorkel is provided at no extra cost.
Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Yes, cancellations or modifications are possible, though certain terms and conditions may apply. Check our cancellation policy for more details.
Do I need a 4x4 vehicle to explore Curaçao?
A standard car is sufficient for almost all areas
Do the cars have a navigation system?
Yes, most rental vehicles have Apple Carplay/Android Auto and you can use your smartphone for navigation
How do I refuel the car in Curaçao?
Park your car next to the fuel pump and walk to the counter to pay upfront (about 80 naf for a full tank). You can ask to top off, but they don't always do that. Remove the hose from the holder and lift the black lid of the holder, now you can refuel! Don't forget to pay afterwards if necessary
